Sandra was born on July 12, 1946 in Denver CO and passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. She was beloved mother to Melissa Ritts (Kenneth) Of Euclid OH and John Richardson; daughter to Dorothy Phelps and the late Oliver E Phelps of Grand Junction CO; Sister to Claudia Markuson (Edward) of Grand Junction CO; Aunt to Alisha Hull (Greg) and Nathanial Markuson (Shannon) of Grand Junction, CO and grandmother to her two "furry granddaughters" Shey and Tidbit. Sandy graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver, CO and attended Barns Business college for accounting. She enjoyed her career as a Photo Lab Manager for Wal-Mart until she became too ill to work. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on February 22, 2009 at 2:30pm at the Normandy Manor, 22709 Lake Road, Rocky River, OH. Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 12930 Chippewa Road, Brecksville, OH 44141. There will be a second memorial in Colorado to celebrate her life on May 29th, 2009. All Souls Catholic Church, in Lakewood, CO. The service will start at 3:00pm MST.
